CANCELLATION BY YOU

Once an experience is purchased, there is a statutory fourteen day 'cooling off' period during which you can request and will receive a full refund less a £100 booking fee, unless the activity is scheduled within this 2 week period.

If you cancel or wish to rearrange your Wing Walk, less than 4 weeks before it is due to take place, you will have to pay £200 rebooking fee. You can only reschedule your booking once and this needs to be done before your planned flight otherwise it will be considered a no show.

We do not provide refunds if the weather is bad we reschedule the flight to a suitable new date.

WEIGHT & HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

When you purchase a Wing Walk you certify that the Wing Walker weighs no more than 89kgs (14st) and is no taller than 6ft 2inches (189cm), you are then reminded of this on your booking confirmation and on your reminder email 5 days before your Wing Walk.

On the day of your Wing Walk you will be weighed; if you are over 89kgs (14st) or taller than 6ft 2inches (189cm) due to the rules set by the Civil Aviation Authority, you will not able to Wing Walk. You will not receive a refund and you will be required to pay £200 to reschedule.

WING WALK VOUCHERS

Our Wing Walk Vouchers are non-refundable, however we are flexible and are happy to change the name of the Wing Walker on the gift voucher if required.

YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE

If your circumstances change, for example you are pregnant; instead of cancelling or changing the date of your Wing Walk you can consider offering the Wing Walk experience to a friend or relative. This can be done free of charge, please inform the team on the day.

CANCELLATION BY US

We are flying in the UK and like other outdoor experiences we are subject to the British weather. Also, we are flying vintage aircraft which are subject to extensive safety checks and maintenance programmes, which sometimes pick up faults necessitating unscheduled repairs, and therefore delays. Your safety is paramount to us, and we will never compromise your safety, as such we reserve the right to cancel or delay your flight at any time.

We want to make you aware that there is a possibility of short notice cancellation due to weather, mechanical problems with our aircraft or other unforeseen circumstance beyond our control.

Should your flight be cancelled by us, we will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible and you will be provided with the ability to reschedule your flight for the next available slot.

The Wing Walk Company will not be liable for any costs such as travel or accommodation by the participant, their family or friends.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

We particularly appreciate customers who have travelled overseas to Wing Walk with us and we recognise the investment in time and money you have made. Therefore, if your flight has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and you have had to incur the cost of international travel to take up your Wing Walk, whilst we cannot refund those costs, as a gesture of goodwill, we will refund the value of your flight if purchased directly from us, less a £50 booking fee. Or alternatively, we will do our best to fit you in during your time in the UK. Please contact us for more information.

BOOKING CONDITIONS & HEALTH RESTRICTIONS

All bookings require a deposit or paying for the experience in full. Any remaining balance has to be paid for in full on the day of the flight.

 If a customer does not turn up for their pre-booked and/or pre–paid experience, 15 minutes before their briefing time, we reserve the right to offer their place to another party on the day, and retain any payment received.

 All wing walkers agree that they meet the Wing Walk Requirements when they book their experience.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photographs and video’s are permitted for personal use only. We love seeing pictures of your day, so we encourage you to share pictures of your experience on Social Media and tag us using ‘The Wing Walk Company’.

We do not allow the use of photographs and videos for commercial purposes. Should professional photography be required, individual flights can be arranged where the appropriate aircraft and in-flight accommodation for camera crew and equipment can be arranged. Please contact us for further details.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

We take great care to ensure all our wing walkers are made to feel exceptionally welcome and are provided with the highest level of customer service by all employees at The Wing Walk Company from the point of booking online to the point at which they are presented with their Wing Walking certificate.  

 If, in the unlikely case a customer is dissatisfied with the service we have provided, we will make every effort to rectify the situation to ensure the customer is fully satisfied. If a customer would like to make a complaint the matter should be raised with one of our ground crew on the day of the Wing Walk who will inform the Bookings Manager. The Bookings Manager will do everything they can to ensure complete resolution of the issue has been achieved.

FORCE MAJEURE

Should other circumstances outside of our control arise, which could not have been prevented despite all precautions by us, for example; acts of God, riots, pandemics, civil unrest and Civil Aviation Authority restrictions, that put a stop to an event, refunds will not be given.

 All wing walkers will be able to re-schedule to a future date when the event will be held as normal, after the disruption has passed. If the disruption has an undetermined length, and continues for longer than 12 months; your voucher expiry date will be extended accordingly so your booking can be rolled over.

SERVICE CONDITIONS

The Wing Walk Company will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) to the customer or a third party due to negligence during your Wing Walk. This does not affect your Statutory Rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

ADMINISTRATION & PAYMENT FEES

In the exceptional circumstance that we need to provide you with a refund, we will deduct a £50 payment platform and administration fee.

BEHAVIOUR & ATTITUDE OF WING RIDER, THEIR FAMILY & FRIENDS

The Wing Walk Company Ltd can refuse to fly an individual on the day if they have any concerns relating to the wing rider, their family or friends behaviour or attitude that may have a negative impact on the safety of the environment at the airfield or the wing walk flight itself.
