Please use the online booking system on our website to book your Wing Walk Experience. This gives you the ability to choose your airfield, date, time and payment options.

The Wing Walker must wear tight fitted clothing, (e.g. leggings) and laced trainers. Hoodies & loose-fitting trousers are prohibited. If the wing walker arrives and is not appropriately dressed we will provide alternative clothing or equipment to ensure they meet the necessary requirements.
Goggles and earplugs are compulsory to wear and are provided by the Wing Walk Company on the day.
Fancy dress costumes can be worn as long as they adhere to the above guidelines.

The Wing Walker must be aged between 18 - 80 years of age.
The maximum weight is 89kgs (14st) (with clothes & shoes on)
The maximum height is 6ft 2inches (189cm)
When you purchase a Wing Walk you certify that the Wing Walker weighs no more than 89kgs (14st) and is not taller than 6ft 2inches (189cm) you are then reminded of this on your booking confirmation and on your reminder email 5 days before your Wing Walk. On the day of your Wing Walk you will be weighed; if you are over 89kgs (14st) or taller than 6ft 2inches (189cm); due to the rules set by the Civil Aviation Authority, you will not able to Wing Walk, you will not receive a refund and you will be required to pay £200 if you wish to reschedule.

We operate between April and October; on selected weekdays and all weekends at our main based at Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent.
Apart from when are at our 3 other locations; Henstridge Aerodrome (Somerset), Wickenby Aerodrome (Lincolnshire) & Sywell Aerodrome (Northamptonshire). Other days are available on request for group bookings.
Henstridge Aerodrome: 30th May - 1st June 2025 / 18th July - 20th July 2025
Wickenby Aerodrome: 27th June - 29th June / 8th August - 10th August 2025
Sywell Aerodrome: 4th & 5th July / 22nd & 23rd August 2025

The Wing Walker will be required to sign a declaration of fitness at the briefing.
If the Wing Walker suffers from high blood pressure, epilepsy, fainting, blackouts / dizziness, heart or lung disease you cannot participate. If your medical condition is being managed; you may be able to participate and should discuss this with your GP / Consultant and provide proof of this before you fly.
If the Wing Walker suffers from drug or alcohol addiction, mental health issues, or are pregnant they will not be able to participate.

We cannot fly in strong winds and rain. Our Chief Pilot checks the forecast regularly; please ring 07594987433 at 12.00 the day before your experience to confirm if your flight is going ahead of not. If we are forced to cancel your flight due to bad weather, then you can reschedule at no additional cost.

You are welcome to bring as many friends and family along to watch you. To avoid the possibility of a serious accident, alcohol consumption is not allowed in any circumstances on any of our operational airfields.
Well behaved dogs on a tight lead are allowed at the aerodrome.

Wing Walking is a fantastic way to raise money for charity.
All individual charity bookings are charged at the advertised rate and any fundraising is independent from The Wing Walk Company and is the sole responsibility of the fundraiser.
If you are a charity and would like to arrange a group booking and join us as Charity Partner then please contact us.

A Wing Walk booking is not refundable but you can re-schedule 4 weeks before your flight via your online confirmation email. Or if your circumstances change or you change your mind you can offer your experience to a friend or family member and we will change the name free of charge.

If you have a remaining balance to pay for your Wing Walk, this is made on the day by cash or card.

Each airfield has a café serving hot and cold food and drinks. Toilets, car parking and excellent viewing facilities of the wing walking.

Both our Boeing Stearman’s were built in 1942 and initially used for pilot training during the 2nd World War.

Due to the wind and the high speeds reached, unfortunately contact lenses are not recommended. Glasses can be worn during the Wing Walk; we can provide you with goggles that can be worn over glasses.

The Wing Walker is secured to the rig of the aeroplane by one of our qualified team, using a 5 point harness and a back-up safety pin to prevent accidental unlocking. The Wing Walker is not allowed to touch the harness during the flight.

The aeroplane will fly between 100ft and 700ft and speeds between 80mph and 110mph.

Wing Walking is an extreme experience; therefore, no aerobatics are permitted. However, the Wing Walker will have the opportunity to tailor their flight with the Pilot to achieve the maximum adrenaline experience or a more relaxed flight, if they wish.

The Wing Walker can only communicate with the pilot by using hand signals, which are fully explained at the health & safety briefing.

You can purchase a gift voucher online, which is valid for 12 months, from the date of purchase. If your voucher is purchased directly through us and it is about to expire you can extend it for 6 months for £50.

You can purchase a HD recorded video with commentary from your pilot on the day of your Wing Walk at the price of £50. It is ready to take home with you to watch with friends and family as soon as you land!
Please note: video equipment can fail on some occasions. If a video failure occurs i.e. you have no footage of your Wing Walk, we will offer you a full refund of your video purchase only. We cannot offer any form of compensation when a failure to record your Wing Walk experience has occurred.
